Beach Walks – South end location: 59th St.7 & Central Ave. at the entrance to Corsons Park – 9am. North End location: OC/Longport Bridge parking lot – Gardens Parkway – 6:30pm. Tickets may be purchased on-site. Adukts - $1.00 Children .50¢.

August

1st - Twins contest - Prizues are those who look the most and least alike.Registration is freeand begins at 5:30pm. Contest begins at 6:00pm in front of the Music Pier.

2nd - Sand Sculpting Contest - Registration is free and begins at 9:00am at the 6th Street beach. Judging takes place at 11:00am.

2nd - 4th - The 18th Annual Art of Surfing - A free family event  featuring original art from surfing's biggest names, live music, and a chance to meet artists form across the country. At the Music Pier.

3rd - 5th - 56th Annual Boardwalk Art Show - Leading artists from throughtoutthe East Coast exhibit and sell their work. Hours: Fris. & Sat. - 10am - 6pm, Sun. 10am - 4pm.

7th - Pamper Scamper - Annual baby crawling race. For babaies up to 15 months. Registration is free and begins at 8:30am. Contest begins at 9:00am at the 6th Street beach.

7th - 10th - Broadway Musical Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST presented by the Ocean City Pops and Ocean City Threatre Group. August 7,8 and 10 at 7:30pm, August 9 at 2:00pm. 9th - 109th Annual Baby Parade - One of the oldest baby parades in the country. On the Boardwalk, 6th - 12th Streets 10:30am.

11th - Miss Ocean City Pageant - 7pm at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk. Scholarship pageant Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 22. Contestans compete in interview, talent, swimsuit, eveninggown andonstage questions. For more inforamtion call 609-399-6111. Tickets will be avalable at oceancityvacation.com/boxoffice

15th Miss Crustacean Hermit Crab Beauty Pageant - Fmailies, Kids, Businesses, Organizations are invited to enter their crustacean in this annual contest. Registration is free and starts 5:30pm at the 6th Street beachContest begins at 6:00pm Hermit Crab Races immediately after pageant.

17th – Little Miss Ocean City – 7pm at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace and the Boardwalk. Scholarship pageant for girls ages 8 – 11. Must live, attend Ocean City Schools or be a property owner in Ocean City  (parent). For registration information call 609-525-9304.

September

3rd - OCNJ Labor Day Race – 5 mile beach run and 1 mile fun run/walk. Great end of the season event. $20 Pre-registration. $25 Race Day. $10 - 14 years & under. Registration begins February 1, 2017. Call 609-399-6111 or www.ocnj.us/Race-Events 

7th & 8th – Ocean City Classic Car and Street Rod Show – Features classis cars on display. Boardwalk display  12noon – 4pm on Saturday .
 
11th – “A Day to Remember”  9/11 Ceremony- 7pm in front of the Sixth Street Firehouse. All are invited to attend. More details to follow.
 
15th - Parachute Pyrtechnic Show - Cosists of several highly trained and specially licensed Team Fastrax demonstrators exiting the aircraft  6,000 feet above thr Ocean City Beach & Boardwalk. Brilliant white or multicolored projectile pyrotechnics are the ignited and flown in formation, creating a dazzling display for spectators on the ground. 8:00pmjump with a landing on the 7th Street beach. Viewable alomg the entire boardwalk.
 
15th – Ocean City Airport Festival – Annual festival at the Municipal Airport, 26th & Bay Ave. 10am – 3pm. Features include a ground display of unusual airplanes ranging from World War II planes to Classics and Warbirds. Meet the performers for the next day’s Aerobatic Air Show.
 
16th - Boardwalk Aerobatic Airshow – 1pm, 6th – 14th Streets over the ocean. Thrill to some of the best stunt pilots and aerobatic champions in the world plus military demonstrations.
 
23rd - Corvette Show – Over 350 cars exhibited. One of the largest of its kind in the East. Models from every year Corvettes were manufactured, comprise this colorful show. Displayed on the Boardwalk from 6th – 10th Streets, 11:30am – 4pm.
 
29th – MS City to Shore Ride – with 7,000 cyclists raising $5.6 million – promises to be the best cycling experience on the east coast.
 
29th & 30th - Boardwalk & Downtown Merchant Table Sales 6th -14th Streets on he Boardwalk & Asbury Avenue.
 
30th – OCNJ Half Marathon, 5K & 10 mile N0n-Competitive Walk/Run – registration begins February 1, 2017. Half Marathon $50 pre-registration until August 31st., Sept. 1 – 20 - $60; Sept 21 – 23 - $70. No race day registration for the half marathon. www.ocnj.us/race-events

6th  Fall Block Party and Fireworks Spectacular – 9am – 5pm  from 5th – 14th Streets on Asbury Avenue . Over 400 crafters, food vendors, music and more. A fireworks display in the evening over the ocean.

 6th, 7th & 8th -  Indian Summer Weekend – Seafood vendors at the Music Pier (Sat. – Mon.) and boardwalk table sales.
 
6th, 7th & 8th - Boardwalk & Down town Merchant Table Sales- (No Venders) 6th – 14th Streets on the Boardwalk and Asbury Avenue.
 
13th - Ocean City, NJ Jeep Invasion - Jepps will be displayed on the Boardwalk between      5th  - 14th Streets, 11:00am - 5:00pm. To register email NJJeepinvasion@gmail.com.
 
19th & 20th - Porsche 356 East Coast Holiday in OCNJ. Vintage (1948 -1965) 365 series Porsche will roll into town and will be displayed on the Boardwalk between 5th - 14th Streets. Times TBD. For information please visit eastcoastholiday2018ocnj.org

18th – Earlier than the Bird Downtown Shopping Extravaganza – 8am – 12noon. Get out earlier than the bird and jump start you holiday shopping the weekend before Thanksgiving. Shop in your pajamas, early bird shopping specials.
 
24th – Christmas in the Downtown – “Our Miracle on Asbury Avenue” – 2pm – 5pm
Join the merchants and Chamber in kicking off an old-fashioned Downtown Christmas.
